Position Description
The Initiative to Integrate Oral Health and Medicine “Initiative” convenes academics, students, and leaders from the business, healthcare, and public health communities to advance innovative ideas around the integration of oral health and overall health— a core academic mission of Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Research demonstrates that the benefits of providing oral health care include improved quality of life and a reduction of overall healthcare costs.
The Initiative is seeking a Research Associate (RA) to collaborate with the team and participate in research studies and demonstration projects that contribute to the evidence base for integration of medical and dental care, education, and financing. The role will require excellent communications and analytical skills. Responsibilities will include development of case studies, preparation of manuscripts, literature reviews, data analysis and project coordination.,
The RA will work with several faculty members and the executive director.
Basic Qualifications
A Masters in Public Health or another relevant field.
Additional Qualifications
Some prior research experience in public health and medicine preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
Special Instructions
Working Conditions: Work is performed in an office setting. Individual flexible and remote work options for this role will be discussed during the interview process.
