Adecco US, Inc. Material Handler II - Shipping Specialist in Chelmsford, Massachusetts

We are seeking a Shipping Specialist responsible for preparing and reviewing shipping documents, ensuring proper packing of goods, verifying shipping costs, and supporting operational needs within a safe and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare shipping documents and review Bill of Materials (BOM).

  • Assemble kits, print and apply labels, and perform ERP system transactions.

  • Maintain accurate inventory through daily cycle counts and proper material storage.

  • Shrink-wrap pallets, handle hazardous materials, and operate pallet jacks/dollies.

  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (ISO) and workplace safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 2+ years of experience in shipping, including domestic and international.

  • Must have and IATA certification (required).

  • Basic math and computer skills, with the ability to read engineering documentation.

  • Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs.

Dress Code: Light Industrial – Closed toes shoes, jeans, t-shirt Professional/Clerical – Business Casual.

We offer:

  • Rate: $23.00 p/h

  • Temp for: 3 month assigment, Tempt to perm

  • Onsite on CHELMSFORD MA.

  • M-F: 8-5

Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
