Job Description

The Assistant Director, Graduate Admissions, in the Carroll School of Management is responsible for contributing to all activities that lead to applicant generation, engagement and enrollment. Duties include:

Events including coordination and execution. Tasks include planning, logistics and staffing to ensure that prospective and enrolled students have the opportunity to experience the value of the Graduate Management Programs. Also, participation in off campus events including coffee chats, admitted student networking events, recruitment networking events and on campus programs such as student panels, open houses, admitted student events and other visitors.

Recruitment Travel to participate in MBA fairs, graduate school fairs and other visits for the purpose of building relationships with prospective candidates while bring “BC on the road.” Maintains communications throughout the process.

Student/Alumni Engagement to build a network of student and alumni ambassadors to participate in recruitment efforts both on and off campus.


 Member of the Admissions Committee

 Develops new ideas for admission strategies

 Oversee Graduate Management Assistants by managing schedules and training

Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and commitment to meeting objectives. High energy, enthusiasm, innovative style and interest in taking on challenges. Understanding of enrollment management cycles a plus.

Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $47,500 to $59,350 salary commensurate with relevant experience.


Bachelor’s degree is required. Experience in consumer relations, marketing environment is ideal.

University or higher education admissions experience is preferred.

Ability to articulate the graduate program admissions requirements.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to think strategically and work effectively in a team-based environment.

Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and database management software.
