Job Description

Senior Associate Athletic Director for Business & Administration

Competitive salary commensurate with relevant experience.

Under the general supervision of the Athletic Director, serve as the senior financial and human resources officer for the Division. This position serves as a member of the Athletic Department Senior Management Team. Responsible for all fiscal activities of the NCAA Division I Athletic Department including budget planning, formulation, management, and resource allocation. Responsible for the development and oversight of fiscal policies and procedures to ensure all fiscal activities are conducted in compliance with Federal, State, Conference, Institutional and NCAA laws and regulations. Responsible for maintaining and ensuring fiscal integrity of the department’s budget including compensation, scholarship, operating as well as Department’s gift, agency, and endowment accounts. Responsible for creating and maintaining the Department’s policy manual. Responsible for Department wide budget reports including the annual audit, EADA, quarterly and annual fiscal reports, and other reports as requested by the Director of Athletics and University Senior Leadership. Responsible for fiscal oversight of Department wide contracts such as apparel and footwear, ground transportation, cellular phones, and sponsorship outsourcing. Serve as the liaison with the auxiliary services (student meal plans, training tables, other meals; concessions; etc). Oversee sports as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum requirements: Bachelor's Degree, 5 plus years of NCAA Athletic Business/Accounting

Preferred: Master's degree (MBA) and CPA
