Part-time Clinical Instructor, Nurse Education Program (Life Span Nursing)
2 days per week/ 6 hours per day, Thursday and Friday

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Teach Life Span/ Medical Surgical Nursing in the clinical setting 2 days per week/ 6 hours per day (Thursday & Friday)
Prepare clinical assignments the day prior to clinical learning experience
Complete formative and summative student evaluations
Instruct and Supervise nursing students in the clinical setting
Communicate with Team Leader on a weekly basis regarding student issues
Perform other duties associated with the position.
Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
BSN and matriculated in a graduate nursing program to graduate in 5 years, or BSN and a earned Master's degree in a non-nursing graduate program
Minimum of 2 years full time nursing employment in the last 5 years.
MA Registered nurse license required.
Evidence of competence in clinical area of Medical Surgical Nursing
BLS Health Provider Level certification from AHA required.
Previous clinical teaching experience is preferred
Candidates must clear a CORI/SORI and/or a National background check as a condition of employment
Candidate may be required to clear a 9-10 panel urine drug screen per clinical placement policy as a condition of employment.
SALARY: $56 per hour, non-benefited, MCCC position.
STARTING DATE: Spring semester beginning in January, 2019. Orientation to the hospital and College is required before the start of the semester
