The Learning and Development (L&D) Coordinator is the primary initial contact in the department for all training inquiries, requests, scheduling, and troubleshooting. This important, front-line position is primarily responsible for the daily activity in Success Factors, the Learning Management System (LMS) we use at Bristol Myers Squibb. This includes assigning and updating curricula, documenting training, responding to requests, modifying Learning Plans, resolving basic LMS functionality issues, and answering general LMS questions.
In addition, the Coordinator manages information that supports the L&D team such as the team email account, and keeps the team on track regarding pending approvals, scheduled reviews, and follow-up on outstanding issues. The Coordinator is also responsible for scheduling meetings, recording and distributing meeting minutes, and updating and distributing Devens Site L&D communications.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs day-to-day LMS (Success Factors) administrative data entry (documents training, curricula updates, learning plan modifications). Review incoming records, evaluate for accuracy, and troubleshoot issues. Research and resolve LMS functionality issues. Solve basic technical problems; investigate and seek solutions to complex issues for LMS. Run reports as needed to show LMS usage. Review and improve system operations practices. Provide immediate response to problems and emergency situations affecting normal operations. Handle the common tasks within the LMS (e.g. assigning curricula, reporting, responding to requests, answering questions, etc.) Schedule New Employee Orientation, team meetings, and other training sessions Manage the Devens L&D Mailbox. Manage team action items and parking lot follow-up. Training SharePoint maintenance. Distribution of Site L&D communications. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Participate in performance-related goal setting and achievement to meet personal and organizational goals and objectives. Attend and participate in trainings and other professional development activity.
Knowledge and Skill:
Associate Degree Required, Bachelor Degree desired
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working in Life Sciences environment, such as Pharmaceutical or Biologics, that includes working within a data management system (Learning Management System preferred)

Use of Adobe Acrobat
Frequent inter-organizational relating to providing support for the training management process and system.
Currently, this position is mostly remote and will require a reliable high-speed internet connection, and must have print and scan ability.
Work is normally performed in a typical office environment.
May be required to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
May be required to work an on-call schedule.

May work on assignments that are complex in nature where independent action and a high degree of initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations. Failure to obtain results or erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in minor program delays.

Receive assignments which require the application of a defined process to complete the assignment.
