Job Description

Insight Global's client is a charter school in the south Boston area looking for a principal for their high school campus. The principal will be overseeing grades 8-12 in a school setting of approximately 200 students.

Essential duties and responsibilities

* Setting performance objectives for students and teachers in grades 8-12

* Implementing, updating and monitoring school policies, curriculum and safety protocols

* Overviewing administrative tasks

* Collaborating with essential departments at the school on needs and improvements

* Building and maintaining relationships between faculty, staff, students and families

Skills and Requirements

* 2+ years of experience as an assistant principal in a high school setting or a director level role within education

* Experience coaching and leading educators

* Experience working with school policy and curriculum development

* Experience building relationships with students and families

* Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail * Experience as a high school principal

* Experience as a teacher in a high school setting null
