CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are currently hiring CNC Machinists for both our day and overnight shifts. In this role, you will serve the aerospace and medical industries. Daily responsibilities include performing setups, running and troubleshooting machinery, holding tight tolerances, and performing inspections on all products. Candidates must have strong skillsets and a minimum of two years of experience with CNC Milling or Lathe. You will perform very complex work, wear many hats in our facility, and communicate consistently with our engineering team. Additionally, you will complete paperwork, maintain safety regulations, and report defective materials or processes. Expect exposure to small to medium-sized aerospace components and be open to adjusting to customer demands.

Responsibilities

• Perform setups, run, and troubleshoot CNC machinery

• Hold tight tolerances (+/- thousandths of an inch)

• Perform inspections on all products using micrometers and calipers

• Communicate consistently with the engineering team

• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain safety regulations

• Report defective materials or processes

• Adjust to customer demands

• Work with aluminum or stainless steel materials

Essential Skills

• Experience running and setting up CNC Mill or Lathe (minimum 2+ years)

• Experience with Swiss Machinery (a huge plus)

• Ability to troubleshoot machinery

• Experience working with tight tolerances

• Proficiency with micrometers and calipers

• Experience working with aluminum or stainless steel

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Swiss Machinery

• Ability to make light edits and zero out a machine

Work Environment

Our facility is extremely clean and well-lit. Some shop areas are louder while others are quiet. Day Shift: 6:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. Overnight Shift: 5:00pm - 6:00am, Monday - Thursday (20% shift differential).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $72800.00/yr.
