South Shore Community Action Council Site Manager in East Wareham, Massachusetts
South Shore Early Education and Care a program of the South Shore Community Action Council - a private non-profit providing multi-level program support on the South Shore, Cape and Islands, South Shore Early Education and Care in Wareham seeks a full-time Site Manager, 37.50 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Core Duties Directly responsible for all programmatic functions in collaboration with staff including EEC licensing, Head Start Performance Standards, health, and safety regulations, as well as any other accreditation requirements. Core Qualifications Must be MA EEC, LTPS & Director II license (required), Bachelor\'s degree or advanced degree (MS) in Early Childhood Education, or related field such as Child Care, Psychology, etc. Knowledge of the comprehensive purpose and philosophy of the EEC program including the regulations. Experience & compassion working with children and families 3-5 years of age. 3-5 years demonstrated supervisory experience. Bi-lingual (Portuguese, Arabic, Spanish) helpful although not required. Minimum Requirements at employment: All candidates must undergo a CORI, DCF, SORI, and fingerprint background check; prior to beginning employment.
