Community Health Connections Network Administrator - Temp to Perm - In person/Hybrid in Fitchburg, Massachusetts
Description
E ssential Duties and Major Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including switching, wireless, lan
management, and network access control.
• Incrementally improve all network service, reliability, and security, troubleshoot, and resolve all issues.
• Provide network support with a variety of operating systems and hardware platforms.
• Maintain windows Active Directory, and Group Policies.
• Maintain network design, security documentation.
• Technical writing skills to document developed policies and procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously.
• Maintain, critique, and further develop and implement security, change control, patch management,
compliance, incident response, and access control policies and procedures.
• Network administration: including backup, recovery testing, e-mail systems including e-mail, web server,
internet access, office systems, applications support, VOIP phone system management.
• Support server, network and desktop hardware, software and applications.
• Monitor network security and act appropriately based on company policies and direction from the CIO.
• Demonstrates strong and effective customer service skills, project support, coordination, and
communications skills (written and verbal) with IT co-workers, customers, and support vendors.
• Provide senior level technical hardware and software support, maintenance and troubleshooting of data
center systems and services, WAN/LAN network, and all company IT supported devices.
• Interacts with the CIO, technical and program staff as well as 3rd party vendors to manage the day-to-day
scheduled and unscheduled computer operations and maintenance activities. Seeks to maintain stable,
efficient, and availability of company data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or a related field is required.
• Min 4 years of experience in network environment required. The healthcare environment is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of standard network security equipment and software such as anti-virus, antispyware, and anti-spam applications required.
• Fluent in network analysis and troubleshooting tools and the ability to troubleshoot network hardware and
software-related issues.
• Windows 2012,2016,2019,2022 server operating platforms.
• Strong understanding of a Virtual Hosted environment utilizing SCALE, Nutanix Platforms, Acronis
Backup
• Strong knowledge of Security policies as well as Firewalls including CATO, Meraki.
• Must have a working knowledge of standard network and internet networking technologies and best practices.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Outlook/Exchange, O365, and Microsoft Office suites is required.
• Strong understanding of Azure, Juniper Mist. SysAid a plus
• Strong knowledge of Meraki, Dell switching technology and configurations with high-level support.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Teams a plus.
• Knowledge of Mimecast and Bitdefender a plus.
• Experience with VoIP, and management of VoIP systems
• Expert understanding and experience with Active Directory principles and best practices.
Schedule :
• Monday-Friday 8 Hour Daily Shift
• Must be available during extended business hours as well as weekends on a rotating basis or as needed.
