Amergis Staffing is partnered with a much-respected school in Gardner, MA who is currently seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to assist them on a contractual basis.

Details of the position include:

Position: Special Education Teacher

Description:

• Working in a sub separate program for students with developmental and intellectual disabilities, similar to a life skills program

• Support writing IEP goals, monitor student progress, lesson plan, manage classroom, attend IEP meetings and report findings, ect.

• Middle School classroom has 8 - 10 students currently and 1 - 2 support staff

• Elementary 4 - 5 student 1 - 2 support staff

Location: Gardner, MA

Start: ASAP

Duration: 24 - 25 School Year

Hours: M-F, Exact hours depend on grade level placement

Pay Rate: Up to $60/hr (based on experience)

Requirements:

• 1 year special education teaching preferred

• MA DESE Moderate or Severe Special Education License

• ABA experience
