GREENFIELD High School English Teacher Job Description DUTIES: Develop and implement a curriculum that adheres to the school\'s curriculum requirements for achievement at a high level Instruct variety of strategies to reach and motivate all learners Assure compliance with Massachusetts English standards Emphasize reading skills as well as creative and expository writing in English Provide clear and well-planned information and present problems that require research, independent thinking, reflection about today\'s citizens, and teamwork Maintain classroom records, as needed or required Interact with a positive, engaging style Perform other related duties, as required. SALARY: Per Unit A Master Contract QUALIFICATIONS: Massachusetts Teacher Certification in English Degree and experience in fields of English Prior experience with English teaching preferred Acceptable alternatives to the above At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred. Bachelor degree preferred.
