Our suburban Haverhill campus sits on 106 acres near Kenoza Lake, and features a Technology Center and an award-winning Student One-Stop Center. Our urban campus in Lawrence occupies a number of buildings in the heart of downtown. Most recently, we have constructed a new 44,000 square foot health technologies facility, the Dr. Ibrahim El-Hefni Allied Health & Technology Center. Both campuses are a short drive to Boston and to the beaches and state parks along the coast. POSITION:Full-Time Associate Dean of Academic Affairs:Associate Dean; Academic Affairs; Haverhill Campus; 37.5 hours/week, Schedule; Non-Unit Professional Position SUMMARY:The Associate Dean of Academic Affairs is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of academic policies, assisting in program development, managing the academic initiatives of the Provost’s Office, and collaborating with academic deans and college leadership in creating an equitable and successful academic experience for all students. SALARY:Anticipated starting salary range is $100,000 - $110,000 annually with complete fringe benefit package including competitive health insurance, dental insurance, basic life insurance, long-term disability insurance, paid sick, vacation and personal leave, educational benefits for employee/spouse/dependents, and excellent retirement benefits. ANTICIPATED START DATE:ASAP RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide leadership in the development of new and review of existing academic policies and their publication and dissemination * Collaborate closely with Student Affairs departments, faculty, and other college units to ensure alignment between academic and other college policies * Manage the work related to the specific priorities of the Provost’s Office, in collaboration with academic deans and others, including: o The Integrated Student Experience o Universal internship opportunities o Guided pathways o Removal of academic barriers to student success o Accreditation o core academic skills review o Online program development o Intentional program design that includes Community Education, ESOL, and Adult Education personnel o Prior learning assessment o Accessibility * Manage all curriculum issues for the Provost’s Office including collaborating with the academic deans to review and encourage new program development, monitor the health of current programs, and monitor program inactivation * Represent the college at state-level meetings and organizations * Serve as a main contact at the state and national level with various organizations or initiatives * Serve on the Academic Affairs Committee to ensure coordination of academic policies with curriculum * Work collaboratively with the Office of Institutional Advancement on grant initiatives directly related to curricular and program development * Engage in training and development related to national and Commonwealth curricular issues, best practices, and accreditation * Other duties as assigned PLEASE NOTE, WE DO NOT REVIEW APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED THROUGH MASSCAREERS.
