This individual is primarily responsible for coordinating and implementing daily office operations pertaining to Lawrence Campus, with the core objective of supporting educational, cultural and social programs. The Associate Director must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to provide support and oversight for projects and initiatives. This person will be expected to attend meetings on behalf of the Vice President and take notes and provide follow up communication, as well as direct and implement different strategic planning procedures across the institution. This individual will participate in implementing data collection needs and analysis While an integral part of the Lawrence Campus & Community Relations team, this individual serves as a liaison to interface and coordinate programs and events with other areas of the College and administration, and must be self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to work with a high degree of independence. Demonstrated interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship/environment * Experience in compiling data and development of reports in an educational institution or grant funded program * Familiarity with Microsoft Office software. Confidence in the ability to learn new and institutional software (e.g., Banner) * Proven ability to work independently and take initiative in carrying out assigned tasks reliably and accurately with minimal direction * Ability to maintain the confidentiality of personnel and payroll information * Ability to work in a dynamic environment of rapidly changing priorities, handle multiple tasks, detail oriented, and consistently meet deadlines PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Bilingual or Bicultural (Spanish and English) * Experience in budgeting, reporting, data collection and analysis * Experience and familiarity with educational institutions, community-based organizations, nonprofit organizations and/or grant funded institutions.
