Amergis Staffing is partnered with a much-respected facility in Leominster, MA who is currently seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to assist them on a contractual basis.

Details of the position include:

Position: Special Education Teacher

Description:

Elementary Severe Special Education Teacher x2

• Self contained sub separate classroom for students with ASD, students are behavioral and classroom has 3 - 4 support staff for classroom of 12 students.

• One position full school year, second is only until December

• Middle School Severe Special Education Teacher - Self contained sub separate classroom for students with ASD, students are behavioral and classroom has 4.5 support staff for classroom of 8.

• High School Moderate Special Education Teacher

• Inclusion sped teacher to assist in inclusion classrooms and manage a caseload in of about 20 - 30 students

  All sped teachers will attend write IEPs and attend IEP meetings, work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, manage classroom and para staff, create lesson plans, and monitor student progress.

  Location: Leominster, MA

  Facility Type: Public School

  Start: ASAP

  Duration: Full School Year

  Hours: Mon-Fri School Hours 7/8 -2/3 (based on grade level placement)

  Pay Rate: Up to $55/hr (based on experience)

  Requirements:

• MA DESE License
