MIT is seeking experienced, full-time Associate Teachers in its Lexington location - Technology Children's Center at Lincoln Laboratory!

The MIT centers are offering competitive salaries for Assistant Teacher - salary range $17.00-19.00 per hour (based on education and experience)

Working with another Child Care Teacher in the classroom, you will:

  • Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.

  • Communicate daily with parents. Document and share the important milestones in their child’s day.

  • Keep the classroom safe and clean by following important procedures and guidelines.

We are looking for full-time Associate Teachers with the following qualifications:

  • CDA, Associate’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree (or working toward achieving) in Early Childhood Education or related field strongly preferred

  • Experience with infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers and commitment to nurturing their development

  • Meet Massachusetts state licensing requirements for EEC professional qualifications, or be willing to pursue

  • Be at least 18 years of age, with a high school diploma/GED

  • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 to ensure compliance with enhanced health and safetyprotocols at this location
