MIT Lincoln Laboratory CO-OP Student - Multimedia in Lexington, Massachusetts
The Technical Communications Multimedia Production Co-op will assist with developing, editing and maintaining high-quality content for video and photographic projects.
Capture video for scripted and live action sequences to be used in communications pieces
Edit and catalogue photographs and video footage while adhering to standard file naming conventions and utilizing best practices for staying organized
Work with Staff Multimedia Producer to serve the day-to-day production requirements for video pieces
Train with Staff Photographers and serve as a backup for a variety of the Lab’s photographic needs.
Assist with setup and breakdown for photographic and video equipment such as lighting, backgrounds and audio equipment
Create and insert motion graphics where necessary to supplement visual communication
Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, BA, BS, or MA degree program in photography, videography/video production, communications, cinematography, multimedia production.
Excellent eye for composition and understanding of editing and video storytelling techniques
Experience setting priorities and meeting deadlines and goals in a fast-paced environment
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal capabilities and communication skills are required
Proficiency with Adobe Premiere, After Effects
Knowledgeable around camera and audio equipment operation
Interest in science and technology visual storytelling
Must be able to obtain and maintain government (DoD) clearance
