    Position Overview:

    The Manager of Provider Relations and Contracting is responsible for building, managing, and monitoring a comprehensive network of quality direct care providers capable of meeting the needs of our diverse consumer population and our requirements as an AGE-designated ASAP. Additionally, they will ensure that the provider network meets other contractual requirements with organizations such as PACE and Senior Care Options (SCO's) programs and other such entities as may contract with GLSS for access to community-based social services.

    Position Responsibilities:

The Manager of Provider Relations and Contracting must collaborate with multiple management to assure that GLSS maintains a comprehensive network of quality providers capable of meeting consumer needs and funding source requirements. Will maintain a schedule and procedure for carrying out provider quality monitoring in accordance with funding source requirements, will manage vendor compliments and complaints reporting, and will track and analyze all incident reports to identify trends, which may require vendor remediation or policy change. This Manager will provide and/or oversee the training and orientation of new providers and will coordinate with the HC Fiscal as needed with the processing and payment of Provider invoices, primarily through the Provider Direct System.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, a healthcare related field or Social Services, and/or Nursing field.

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in health care or social services.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional level experience either overseeing the provision of health/social services and/or contracting for services.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience.

  • Possess exceptional organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office desktop applications.

  • Ability to independently travel to off-site meetings.

  • Critical thinking and independent decision-making.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Strong collaboration and coordination skills, working seamlessly with other departments within GLSS.

  • Conflict resolution abilities to manage disputes and find mutually beneficial solutions.

  • Capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing requirements and new challenges in a dynamic work environment.

  • Experience working at a Massachusetts Aging Service Access Point (ASAP) with knowledge of home care policy, procedure, and provider contracting preferred.

    Hours: Full Time 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday) - Hybrid schedule requiring two days in the office, with additional time spent on vendor visits and audits. Must be willing to travel within the GLSS service area.
