Job Title: Mechanical Drafter
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Drafter to create detailed drawings and assemblies using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will work with machined components and cast components to develop accurate and precise designs, reformat and update existing drawings, and collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure designs meet specifications and standards.
Responsibilities
Create detailed drawings and assemblies using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Work with machined components and cast components to develop accurate and precise designs.
Reformat and update existing drawings, making necessary adjustments and improvements.
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure designs meet specifications and standards.
Utilize Product Data Management (PDM) systems to manage and organize design files.
Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Strong exprience in creating detailed drawings and assemblies.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with machined components or cast components.
Familiarity with PDM systems is a plus.
SAP knowledge.
Work Environment
You will be supporting a team of 4 engineers and will most likely be working onsite every day.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
