Patient Educator for Milford Regional Diabetes Education (https://www.milfordregionalphysicians.org/practices/milford-regional-diabetic-education-2) Statement of Purpose: Under the direct supervision of the Practice Manager, the Diabetes Education program is looking for an RN to work as a part of our team to assess, teach, and support patients with Diabetes self-management in both group and individual sessions. We are recognized by the American Diabetes Association and follow guidelines to maintain recognition. Certified or eligible to sit for certification by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators within 1st year of employment. Strong computer skills with EMR systems required. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Qualifications: Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred Certification/Licensure: Massachusetts RN License, Diabetes Education certification Experience: At least 2 years of clinical experience required. Schedule: Mondays 7:45am to 4:15pm
