Riverside Community Care Assistant Program Director - Riverside School in Milford / Needham, Massachusetts
Exciting opportunity to join Riverside Community Care as an Assistant Program Director for our amazing Riverside School!
The Riverside School aims to provide student-centered educational experiences that are clinically focused and foster a culture of mutual respect and appreciation for learning. Our program and services support opportunities for leadership within the school, home and larger community, allowing youth to develop self-esteem and to graduate within a time frame commensurate with their peers.
The Riverside School serves students from grades six through twelve and offers a high staff to student ratio in a small group setting, with skilled educational and clinical professionals.
The Assistant Program Director will work in close coordination with the Riverside Program Director, providing critical administrative oversight and leadership of the Riverside School, including a weekly schedule to ensure shared day to day direct management at both the Milford and Needham School sites.
In collaboration with Program Director, the Assistant Program Director oversees and manages critical duties across both school sites, including staff training, supervision, IEP oversight, service coordination oversight, and ensuring compliance around quarterly reports.
The Assistant Program Director will be the administrator in charge for both sites in Needham and Milford in the absence of Program Director.
Salary: $88,000/year
The Riverside School is a 12-month school.
Work hours are Monday-Friday, 8AM-4PM with full on-site and in-person programming .

Required Skills
Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle
Required Experience
Master’s Degree in Special Education and a license as a special educator
Knowledge of DESE regulations including MCAS requirements
Degree and experience must comply with current program needs to meet DESE standards
Management/supervisory or administrative experience in a similar service setting
Experience working with youth with emotional disabilities and their families
