We are pleased to announce an exciting employment opportunity within our Training Department for the position of Training Specialist! The Training Specialist develops and provides trainings for Behavior Therapists, BCBAs, and other professionals working primarily within RCS Learning Center and RCS Behavioral & Educational Consulting. Trainings including both new hire training and continuing professional development. Additionally, the Training Specialist implements and maintains systems to ensure credential requirements are met and maintained for RBTs and BCBAs. The Training Specialist works within a supportive and collaborative team, receiving oversight from a BCBA. Opportunities to collaborate with professionals across the Learning Center and Consulting companies to meet the training needs of both. This is a full-time, salaried position and candidates must be available within the hours of 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday-Friday with flexibility to work outside of these hours if needed. Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively within and across departments

  • Develop and maintain a central training library

  • Stay current on all BACB training requirements for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and ensure requirements are met

  • Deliver new hire and professional development trainings to Behavior Therapists and BCBAs

  • Provide additional training and support to Behavior Therapists and BCBAs as needed

  • Develop and revise both online and in-person trainings for behavior therapists and BCBAs, using best practice pedagogical techniques

  • Complete an on-going analysis of trainee data and use to inform training content

  • Review and provide feedback on trainings developed by other BCBAs

  • Plan training calendars for the year

  • Facilitate BCBA supervision between Supervisors and Trainees as needed and develop supervision materials

  • Stay current on all BACB requirements including obtaining/maintaining the RBT and BCBA credential

  • Work with team members to identify the training needs/priorities of RCS Learning Center and RCS Behavioral & Educational Consulting, and develop and execute plans accordingly

  • Develop and maintain training policies and tracking systems as needed


  • Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst or eligible to sit for the exam within 4 months

  • Must be a Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst or completing the licensing process

  • Must have excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills

  • Must be detail-oriented

  • Ability to prioritize training tasks

  • Ability to plan to achieve both immediate and long-term goals

  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills

  • Must have strong problem solving skills, and be able to seek assistance when needed

  • Ability to build and maintain professional rapport with students and staff

  • Ability to work independently and within a team dynamic

  • Able to demonstrate flexibility within job responsibilities

  • Will have good overall punctuality and attendance

  • Must have a positive attitude

  • Ability to take initiative by contributing ideas and work that furthers the goals of the Training Department

  • Ability to manage tasks and deadlines for multiple projects at once
