Description Master Level Clinician ? New Graduates are Encouraged to Apply Program/ Location: New Bedford Education/Licensure: Master\'s degree in Counseling, Mental Health or other related field Pay Grade: \$33.75 - \$38.50 per hour Pay rate based on experience, education, & licensure status Status/Shift: Full time - Monday - Friday 8-430, 830-5, or 10a-6:30pm This is part of the new Stimulant Cooling Center project out of the New Bedford OP Clinic. This clinician will be responsible for providing patient support in the new High Point Stimulant Cooling Center project in New Bedford. This position will work 50% in an innovative new outpatient program to provide improved health outcomes for individuals who use stimulants. By working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of professionals includes licensed social workers, mental health clinicians, Master?s level clinicians, certified addictions clinicians, psychiatrists, medical physicians, and psychologists, barriers are reduced for patients. This cooperative process ensures that patients have access in real time to the services that they need. Clinician Qualifications ? Master?s Degree in a related field ? Independent License preferred, not required ? Maintains and submits any current Licensure or Certificate necessary for the performance of the position Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol Abuse Policy and HIPAA Regulations Crisis intervention Clinician Duties & Responsibilities ? This is a critical role with an innovative behavioral health organization helping people on their journey. ? This position will focus on meeting two primary clinical needs: the Stimulant Treatment and Recovery Team and in the outpatient clinic. ? The position will be a 50/50 split of working with patients with stimulant use disorder in the specialty clinic in addition to having a caseload in the outpatient clinic. ? Providing direct care to patients seeking support in 68 N. Front St.?s Stimulant Cooling Center ? Create plans to reduce barriers for actively using patients to reduce further harm. ? Relationship development with patients, collaterals, and staff with the goal of improved health outcomes and reduced mortality of those who use stimulants. ? Attend all unit, facility meetings and case conferences as directed by the Clinical Director ? Run Groups
