Bright Horizons Senior Director, Client Services - Remote in Newton, Massachusetts
The Senior Director of Client Services (CSD) is responsible for driving new business growth within an assigned geographic territory for our EdAdvisory businesses. This role is accountable for developing a regional sales strategy and plan which will promote sales growth and productive consultant and client relationships. In this role, the CSD will be responsible for complex solution sales by expanding product market share through insight, expertise, and evangelism of the value proposition of assigned solutions. Through consultative selling, the CSD seeks to align our clients and prospects benefits and business needs with Bright Horizons solutions by building relationships and credibility with key stakeholders effectively. This individual will have ultimate responsibility for all elements of the sales process, while working with a team of experts including prospecting, qualifying, positioning, demonstrating, objection handling, and contract negotiating through sale closure, in order to meet or exceed the assigned sales quota.
This is a Remote position available in the United States.

Responsibilities:
Achieve new business sales goals on an annual basis
Define a sales plan and approach that delivers desired sales outcomes; identify improvements and adjust plan when needed
Demonstrate solid leadership qualities and organizational skills in leading the efforts of the team throughout the sales cycle
Foster consultant relationships in your region that lead to productive and effective working relationships
Successfully implement a prospecting strategy for assigned territory to ensure the organization fosters productive relationships with targeted employers
Drive innovation across Client Services to support real-time strategy refinement utilizing lessons learned and best practices to drive continuous improvement
Anticipate industry trends and assess competitor positioning to proactively position Bright Horizons for long term success that translates to revenue growth and the development of new strategic relationships
Represent Bright Horizons both externally and internally as an industry expert and thought leader with existing and prospective customers, brokers, and consultants
Maintain a highly credible and visible professional profile within the industry including representing the organization in meetings, seminars, trade shows and networking events
Be a positive force and a team leader; communicate issues, concerns and problems in a proactive solution-oriented manner
Ensure accurate and timely entry of sales opportunity information using our sales tracking tools as well as timely management reporting
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree is required, Master's Degree preferred
5 years of B2B direct sales is required
Experience selling in a services environment with a sales cycle in the range of 3-6 months
Results oriented, comfortable setting aggressive goals and exceeding them
Process oriented approach to sales and sales reporting
Intellectual aggressiveness and track record of success identifying, proposing, negotiating and closing complex business engagements
Dynamic presentation skills and comfort dealing with all levels of an organization
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Impeccable attention to detail and follow-up
Thrives in a team environment as well as in a remote environment
Functions effectively under pressure and maintains a sense of humor
Demonstrates the qualities of patience, tolerance, commitment, perseverance, and optimism
Ability to manage others
Ability to manage multiple markets
Must be willing to travel extensively

Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 – $180,000 annually. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.

Also, depending on hire date and subject to applicable eligibility requirements and accrual schedules, new employees in this role receive up to: 9 paid holidays annually; 40 hours of sick time per year based on full-time schedule, and 120 hours of vacation time per year based on full-time schedule (vacation time may be used for sick leave purposes under any applicable state or local sick or safe time law).
