University Relations & College Recruiter (Remote/MA based)

Do you have experience in University Relations & College Recruiting and want to work for a company that positively impacts the lives of the many individuals it serves? In the UR College Recruiter role, you will contribute to the company’s commitment to serve others by recruiting and hiring entry level talent in support of the daily operations of the business unit while ensuring qualified and diverse applicant pools .

The University Relations & College Recruiter will be a driving force behind our entry level talent initiatives, you will partner with hiring managers and advise on campus recruiting best practices, building diverse pipelines, and creating a positive candidate experience for our interns and new grads joining our organization. Responsible for the full life cycle recruitment of our early talent needs.

This position is remote, preference is Massachusetts based.

  • Develop strong partnerships and collaborations with our Partner Schools, and relevant major/degree programs on campus. Primarily human services programs such as Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Education, etc., both at the Bachelor’s and Master’s level, these are the main pipeline of candidates for our entry level roles.

  • Partner with our select Universities and Colleges to promote our brand and employment opportunities. Understand the inner working of the Field Placement process, and any other related processes at our schools.

  • Partner, influence and guide our hiring managers and leaders to identify, attract and hire talent for the organization, advise on best campus recruitment practices.

  • Be a brand ambassador for Sevita.

  • Manage campus candidate through the entire recruitment process. Perform activities such as sourcing, screening resumes, interviewing candidates, etc., at the campus level.

  • Work closely with our logistics partner to plan and execute on events on campus and all logistics required.

  • Attend both virtual and on campus events such as career fairs, career day sessions, tabling events, information sessions, etc., interact with students, faculty, staff, student organizations to promote Sevita and our job opportunities.

  • Ensure a consistent and great candidate experience is delivered.

  • Analyze recruitment and campus data results for reporting to management.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Unless there is a legal requirement, experience will be accepted for the education requirement).

  • Minimum 3+ years as a University Relations College Recruiter in a full life cycle, high growth environment.

  • Experience in recruiting early talent from social work or human services programs (social work, psychology, education, sociology, etc.) both at BS/MS levels at universities.

  • Passionate about College Recruitment Programs, building diverse teams, and experience in building new programs.

  • Experience building relationship on campus with career services professionals and directors or programs, such as Field Placement directors, and coordinators.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence others.

  • Excellent research and sourcing skills.

  • Technically savvy with demonstrated knowledge of best practices with social media, applicant tracking systems, and Excel.

  • Strong commitment to the company’s mission and values.

  • Must possess a strong work ethic, self-starter, and a sense of urgency to meet goals.

  • Ability to interpret metrics and make appropriate recommendations.

  • The preferred location for this position is Massachusetts/Remote (Work from h ome). Ability to travel to campus events.
