UCP of Western Massachusetts Clinical Nursing Supervisor in North Adams, Massachusetts
Are you a nurse with at least two years recent experience work with elders or adults with disabilities in the community? Are you looking to gain additional supervisory and training experience? As a Clinical Nursing Supervisor you will supervise UCP nursing staff and work in collaboration with Program Directors to ensure the healthcare needs of the members in UCP programs are adequately supported. You will assist with Clinical Eligibility and Intake Assessments to determine the level of risk for members and provide a medical review for all Intake applicants. You will be the lead trainer for all aspects of healthcare trainings and provide technical assistance to agency participants, family members, and the multidisciplinary professional team to ensure all are adequately trained to provide healthcare support. Benefits include: - Health insurance 1st of the month after hire date - Agency paid life and disability insurance - Vacation/Sick/Personal/Holiday program - 403(b) retirement program with match - Mileage reimbursement - Referral program Qualifications: - RN or BSN in good standing with the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing - Bachelors degree preferred in a related field - Two or more years experience in direct care of the elderly or disabled adults - One or more years of supervisory experience - Experience training adult learners preferred - Proficiency in Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint - Working knowledge of remote communication tools like Zoom preferred - Appropriate communication skills to effectively communicate with members, caregivers and professionals - Specific skill- based competencies include analyzing data, effective listening, and communication skills, facilitating meetings, monitoring activities, planning and problem solving. - Ability to travel to conduct components of essential job duties. - Valid driver\'s license, availability of private vehicle, up-to-date car insurance - Ability to work flexible hours in order to accommodate the needs of members - Satisfactory CORI, SORI, DPPC and National Fingerprint Check - A negative Mantoux TB test or a clear chest x-ray
