Meeting Street is currently looking for an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher for sixteen (16) hours per week at Schwartz School in Dartmouth, MA. Duties: Develops and implements developmentally appropriate and motivating adaptive physical education programs for all identified students as warranted through IEP goals. Provides small group, whole class and individualized instruction as needed. Attends and actively supports out of school events that are related to our physical education program (i.e. Special Olympics, etc.). Meeting Street believes the dignity of each person is paramount. Requirements Bachelors or Masters degree in Physical Education with certification as a physical education teacher or ability to receive certification within one year of employment. Current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification or ability to get certified within a few months. Current CPR/First Aid Certified or ability to obtain within a few months of employment.
