The Academic Skills Center (ASC) promotes academic, cognitive, and personal growth in all students and is a resource for the adult members of the School community as well as students. We are seeking a collaborative educator who will work closely with the Director of the Academic Skills Center to serve our students and to collaborate with educators to provide individualized academic support and meet the needs of all students. Bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in a related field with experience working as a Learning Specialist. Provide ongoing individualized academic support and coaching for identified students Collaborate with administration, faculty, and families to support students with learning differences Design individual learning plans for students in need of academic support Act as a resource and provide professional development for faculty in the areas of learning differences, executive functions, and cognitive skill building to implement best practices in teaching and learning Attend appropriate professional development opportunities Maintain an active presence and participate fully in campus life by attending school-wide events whenever possible; serve five weekend duty rotations annually Be available for a flexible work schedule that includes two-three evenings per week for working during study hall times
