MHS is seeking a part time librarian who promotes the library as an important community commons for learning; an inviting, dynamic place for students and faculty to collaborate, reflect and connect and study. The librarian will create an inclusive environment which is inviting to all members of the community. The Librarian is an advocate for literacy, instructional designer, collaborative partner and lifelong learner. They will contribute to the management and oversight of the Library, with responsibilities in areas including programming, collection development, circulation, and cataloging. The Librarian will collaborate with faculty to advance curricular learning in their content areas while also embedding key Library learning skills. We are looking for an individual who is excited to be in our dynamic learning community of adults and students who are committed to innovative programs.
