Berkshire Health Systems Senior Audio-Visual Engineer in Pittsfield, Massachusetts
The Senior AV Service Engineer is responsible for the audio visual needs used to amplify, record and display sounds and images at live events for Berkshire Health Systems as well as for the design, maintenance and functionality of conference rooms and the collaboration training rooms. Responsible for the set up and breakdown of off campus events. Works independent and manages scheduled calendar events, coordinates with the Telecommunication Engineers to cover conflicts in schedule to ensure proper representation.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
Minimum of one year experience providing technical AV support in a medium to large organization.
Education and Training:
Associates degree required, Bachelors preferred, or a minimum of three years related job experience.
License, Certification & Registration:
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills along with patience.
A positive customer friendly attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
Must understand personal computers, operating systems, Microsoft products and applications used in multimedia production.
Ability to prioritize and self-manage workload.
May be required to travel to different sites and perform on call duties as needed.
Flexible schedule is required, must be able to work weekends, holiday, and other shifts, as necessary.
Knowledge of camera equipment and software, and familiarity with editing equipment and software.
Must be creative and flexible with strong communications skills and the ability to interact with co-workers, clients often under deadline pressure.
