How you make a difference
The IT Manager leads the charge in planning, implementing, and managing cutting-edge IT systems within a healthcare setting. From troubleshooting hardware and software issues to providing hands-on technical support, this role ensures the seamless operation of the organization’s technology infrastructure. The IT Manager also spearheads IT projects, playing a pivotal role in driving innovation, efficiency, and reliability in our systems—ultimately supporting the critical work of healthcare professionals and enhancing organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support : Provide first-line technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.
System Management : Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals to ensure seamless IT operations.
Issue Resolution : Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, escalating issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
Compliance and Documentation : Ensure compliance with healthcare data protection regulations such as HIPAA and maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
Training and Collaboration : Conduct user training sessions to enhance employees' understanding of IT systems and collaborate with IT team members and external vendors for efficient operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar IT support role.
Preferred: Experience supporting EMR (Electronic Medical Records).
Certifications:
- Preferred: Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, etc.).
