Job Description: Summary: The Childcare Provider at First Church is an important part of our Religious Education team, providing care for the youngest members of our community. The Childcare Provider supervises children age 5 and under in our nursery during the church service on Sunday mornings, engaging the children in activities and play. The nursery space is a preschool during the week and provides areas for crafts, pretend play, building, and reading books. Job Responsibilities: Provide childcare for children five and under during the church service on Sunday mornings Set-up and clean-up of the nursery space Provide active care, engaging the children in play and activities Assist teachers in one of our classrooms if no children attend childcare Job Qualifications: The Ideal Candidate Will: Be at least 18 years old Have experience in childcare Have experience caring for infants and toddlers Have experience with or an interest in learning about neurodiversity, anti-racism, and LGBT+ inclusivity in an educational setting
