Job Title: Construction Superintendent
Job Description
Aerotek is hiring immediately for a construction superintendent! The construction superintendent is responsible for leading, managing, and monitoring the successful execution of projects on time, within budget, and safely. This role involves oversight of foremen, trades, and subcontractors on water/wastewater, federal, and other heavy industrial facility construction/renovation projects. The Superintendent will work in conjunction with the project team and report to the Project Executive. This is a full-time, salaried-exempt position offering competitive pay and benefits!
Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and monitor construction projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
Ensure all projects are executed safely and in compliance with industry standards.
Oversee foremen, trades, and subcontractors on water/wastewater and heavy industrial facility projects.
Manage schedules, budgets, and trades (both subcontractors and self-perform).
Supervise junior staff including field engineers, foremen, assistant superintendents, and assistant project managers.
Essential Skills
10 years of experience as a construction superintendent with heavy civil and/or wastewater projects.
OSHA 10 (minimum) or OSHA 30 certification.
Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL).
Ability to manage schedules, budgets, and trades, including subcontractors and self-perform crews.
Experience in managing junior staff (field engineer, foreman, assistant superintendent, assistant project manager).
Extensive knowledge of construction equipment and safety industry standards.
Excellent mechanical skills.
In-depth knowledge of structural concrete, wastewater equipment, and piping.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in commercial construction and subcontractor management.
Excellent scheduling abilities.

Work on-site in Somerville, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and industry regulations. This role involves managing various trades and subcontractors, with a focus on water/wastewater and heavy industrial facility projects.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plaistow, New Hampshire.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $53.00/hr.
