Here are some duties that you will perform as part of your daily schedule. Clean guests\' rooms, including: - Dusting all surfaces, including furniture, lamps, tabletops, sofas and curtains - Scrubbing and mopping floors using cleaning solutions - Vacuuming carpets, upholstered furniture and curtains - Emptying trash and placing new liners in the bin - Wiping and sanitizing electrical wires, gadgets and other electric equipment such as TV and remotes - Cleaning washrooms using antibacterial bathroom cleaners, scrubbing tiles or marbles with cleaning agents and cleaning the taps, ensuring not to leave any water stains - Cleaning mirrors, glass surfaces and windows using cleaning solutions to ensure they are shiny and spotless - Restocking tissues, toilet paper, paper towel, toiletries, and amenities Maintain cleanliness of the resort, including lobby, lobby bathrooms, front desk, hallways, stairwells, and any other common area. - Cleaning all surfaces and furniture - Vacuuming carpeted common rooms, hallways, and stairwells - Cleaning windows and glass doors - Scrubbing and mopping hard floors using appropriate cleaning solutions - Sanitizing an touched-surfaces, using disinfectant wipes or sprays Respond to guests\' requests, including: - Room cleaning, replacing towels/linens, making beds, changing trash, and restocking coffee, toiletries, and other amenities - Maintaining a friendly and accommodating presence - Responding to guests\' requests promptly and in a timely manner Maintain inventory of essential supplies, including: - Guest room supplies, including bed linens, towels, tissues, toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, sponge, coffee, toiletries, note pad, pen, etc. - Cleaning supplies, including all-purpose cleaning solutions, sanitizers, gloves, bathroom cleaners, vacuums, brooms, dusters, paper towel, trash bags, etc. Essential skills for this job are: - Communication and collaboration with other resort departments and staff members, as well as communicating effectively with resort guests - Attention to detail, ensuring that every part of the resort\'s guest rooms and common areas are as clean and tidy as possible - Time management, managing multiple tasks simultaneously through effective prioritization, organization and delegation - Empathy and understanding guests\' concerns, engaging in polite conversations to make them feel comfortable and accommodated - Work ethic, being reliable and consistent, treating guests with respect, being responsible and accountable for the work assigned, and delivering the highest quality services possible
