Position Summary:

  • As member of the Professional Services & Delivery team, this team member assists in assessment of field user technology learning needs and supports the design, development, coordination and delivery of field training programs (including train-the-trainer programs)

  • Provides knowledge, skill & experience in delivery of technology instruction to MassMutual field advisors and agency staff

  • Partners with Field Ambassadors, Readiness Consultants, other Training Consultants and IT project team members to ensure the establishment of meaningful, repeatable learning in support of innovative, high-quality technology education and awareness initiatives for our field business partners

  • Establishes, tracks & reports on critical success factors, adoption criteria and measurable benefits of projects deployed.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs, Develops, and maintains state-of-the-art adult virtual, and live learning activities

  • Responsible for the administration, coordination and facilitation of field technology learning, development & certification programs (e.g. Agency Technology Specialist curriculum and onboarding program).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of Instructional Design and adult learning theory

  • 3-5+ years of training or related experience

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Knowledge of multimedia technology and authoring tools such as Brainshark, Camtasia and Articulate 360

  • Proven record of accomplishment of designing, building & successfully facilitating training content, preferably technology in virtual as well as ILT settings

  • Some travel may be required

  • Strong technical aptitude with solid knowledge of the agency/firm environment

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on project teams with agency/firm personnel and across internal home office departments

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Work with guidance on more complex projects

  • Anticipate change and direct or redirect efforts

  • Look for and find ways to improve operations
