Henry Schein, Inc. Training and Education Specialist - Zahn in Stoneham, Massachusetts
This position is responsible for the development and structuring of education, courses, lectures and hands on formats for trade shows, off-site education for customers and sales teams relative to the inner workings of a lab, best practices, and protocols that improve production and outcomes. Work on site with lab customers to improve their processes, train them on digital and analog materials, and attend trade shows for Zahn dental as requested. Maintain customer support qualification on new products as a result of sales launches.
Develop course content and work to create internal training classes and webinars which meet company goals for new hires and cross training on lab business and materials. Work with Dental training team to ensure all inbound telesales representatives have be adequately trained in all aspects of a working lab. All content requires approval from department manager prior to release to sales teams or publication.
Support High Tech Dept. with customer information, communication and customer support as needed. Customer communication is key in this role help to maintain product qualification and communication to North American technical team on new products as they are reviewed for product portfolio. Attend trade shows and hands on courses as needed to support education. Travel is required, participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
Support company programs for Lab customers “White Glove” value added service by offering/performing a business analysis focusing on processes and protocols in use. Offer time and money saving ideas, recommend products to help them streamline and improve case management and identify ways to improve case outcomes. This service will be marketed through our sales team and other methods to be outlined in program proposal
Co-Travel with sales team to stay in touch with industry changes and offer your services based on White Glove plan to be developed.

Consistently work on complex and unique assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues. Make recommendations for new procedures. Analyze more complex technical or non-technical problems and suggest solutions where precedent may not exist.
Work under minimal supervision and may act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Often act as a facilitator and team leader and may provide informal feedback. Provide training as needed.
Typically 5 or more years of related experience.
Dental technology degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

**SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Fabrication and processing of Zirconia materials
Shade matching, sintering and manufacturing knowledge of digital materials
Extensive knowledge of 3Shape software
Extensive knowledge of milling and nesting procedures related to manufacturing ZR
Technical expertise related to dental technology procedures
Computer skills related to PPT and Excel
Knowledge of 3D printing processes
Typically, to advance to a new job level, TSMs must demonstrate professional behavior and should consistently be at the high-end of meets expectations or consistently exceed expectations.
**TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Travel typically about 30%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
