Covenant Health CLINICAL NURSE EDUCATOR in Tewksbury, Massachusetts

Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse Leader / Clinical Educator has specialized knowledge in horizontal leadership and is accountable for the management of care and the care environment. The CLINICAL NURSE LEADER / CLINICAL EDUCATOR is unit based and is responsible for a cohort of patients. The CLINICAL NURSE LEADER / CLINICAL EDUCATOR is accountable for patient safety and quality outcomes. In his/her daily practice, the CLINICAL NURSE LEADER / CLINICAL EDUCATOR develops an overall view of patients, families and caregivers, and establishes strong partnerships with them to deliver optimal care. The CLINICAL NURSE LEADER / CLINICAL EDUCATOR has 24-hour accountability for the care provided. Every St. Joseph Hospital employee is required to abide by the Standards of Conduct and to report any activity that appears to violate the Standards of Conduct.



  • Graduate from an approved School of Nursing.

  • Current NH license required or temporary license.

  • MSN/Master's degree required.


  • 3-5 years of clinical experience in appropriate clinical area with demonstrated ability in clinical and administrative management.


  • Membership in professional nursing organization required.

  • Certification in specialty area or administration preferred.
