HomeGoodsandHomesenseare leading our growth in the U.S. with plans to open 100 stores this year! We have an exciting opportunity for aSeniorLearning & Development Specialistto support the development and implementation of learning solutions across all functions for this fast-growing division with 20,000 Associates located in Stores, Distribution Centers, Regional and Corporate offices. Based in our Framingham, MA headquarters, he/she will be assigned a mix of core responsibilities as well as special projects which will equip our business leaders to support our continued growth.
TheWorkyou will do:
Coursework Development& Implementation
Collaboratively develop Learning & Development (L&D) products/programs, specific to client needs and audience development level
Create and execute project plans and maintain project calendars
Design, develop, implement training materials: instructor guides, learner workbooks, job aids, e-learnings
Lead trainings and facilitate workshops to enhance capability around high potential development
Coach resources in the delivery of workshops and the utilization of tools
Metrics and Analytics
Create and implement the review process for L&D products
Develop evaluation tools that assess effectiveness of the products in meeting clients' needs
Evaluate current products and programs, conduct needs assessments, compile client feedback and prepare reports on findings, provide recommendations to management
Provide guidance and support in the delivery of training products and processes to Human Resource Business Partners
Coordinate assessment administration for class participants as well as pre-work and post-work logistics, including classroom training set-up
Oversee execution of training events across Stores, Distribution Centers, and Home Office, provide support and coaching to trainers
The Skills that will Make You Successful:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Psychology, Human Resources, Instructional Design or related field
3+ years’ experience in L&D; design of materials, project management, coaching and facilitation
Passion and energy for development, people and building relationships in a collaborative matrix environment
Knowledge of conducting needs analyses, instructional course design, Adult Learning Theory, Instructor Led Training
Coaching skills, including the ability to give positiveandconstructive feedback
Ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment with changing priorities
Deep listening and inquiry; seeks to understand and make connections which result in engaging interactions
The ability to build and maintain relationships and the ability to influence others without authority
A self-director who can manage their own timelines and set priorities
Critical thinking and problem solving; the ability to assess situations and provide alternate solutions
