Brandeis University Assistant Director of Admissions in Waltham, Massachusetts

Brandeis University seeks to hire an Assistant Director of Admissions who will work closely with the Director of Admissions to recruit, admit, and enroll approximately 200 students per year for all master?s programs in Graduate Professional Studies. This individual is responsible for sharing in the supervision of the call center workers; driving application rates from start to completion and yielding admitted students. Key metrics are application completion rate and yield ratios. Working with admitted students to complete the offer of acceptance, the Assistant Director must be very familiar with the enrollment process. Responsibilities include training and managing assigned employees in the admissions call center; preparing accurate and timely enrollment reports; working directly with prospective students to get them admitted and to accept the offer; participating in the GPS team meetings and collaborating with colleagues to ensure the highest quality student experience. This work occurs in a team-oriented environment to achieve institutional goals. Teamwork and collaboration, as well as service orientation, are important competencies. Key Responsibilities: Admissions Use customer relationship management tools (i.e. Slate) to track progress of prospects from expression of interest to enrollment Deploy strategies to recruit prospective students including online information sessions, application workshops and industry panels. Maintain constant communication with prospective students via phone calls, emails, live chats and other methods. Ensure accurate records of enrollment funnel data in Slate. Supervise call center employees Train call center employees in the operation of the call center and maintain documentation pertaining to training (scripts, email templates, etc.) Monitor and report on call back volume. Ensure quality of communication with prospects meets standard. Proactively respond to inquiries and track interactions with prospective students. Contact applicants regularly to provide information and counseling about graduate programs. Prepare regular enrollment reports (weekly in the early stages of recruiting; daily in the last 2 weeks of an enrollment cycle) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required 2-5 years related work experience Experience using a CRM (Slate Preferred) Ability to think strategically in fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated strong process management skills; organizational skills; problem solving and decision making. Sales experience a plus Position requires evening and occasional weekend work. You must submit a cover letter with your application for consideration.
