Brandeis University Director, Operations, Administration, an in Waltham, Massachusetts

Brandeis University seeks to hire a Director, Operations, Administration & Budget that is responsible for administrative and financial oversight of all non-school units reporting to the Provost. Provide leadership to a wide range of University departments, centers and programs to enhance communication and collaboration in support of the financial goals and mission of the University. Examples of Key Responsibilities: Provide financial consultation to non-school units including the Library, Academic Affairs, Rose Art Museum, and Centers and Institutes not embedded into schools, and coordinates interactions with the University Budget Office. Oversee the annual budget process for non-school units including the Library, Academic Affairs, the Rose Art Museum, and Centers and Institutes not embedded into schools, and the Provost's Office annual budget. Support Provost's role on the Committee for Strategy and Planning and other University committees including the Provost Academic Leadership committee, the Workday Management committee, the Workday project team committee, the Workday Production Advisory committee, the Data Governance committee, , HR/Finance Liaison committee, the Capital Planning committee, IA System Executive committee. Provide assistance in staff hiring, merit reviews and job roles in non-school units including the Library, Academic Affairs, Rose Art Museum, and Centers and Institutes not embedded into schools, and of staffing in the Provost's Office. Liaise with A&S, Heller, IBS and other University administrative units on financial, systems and administrative issues Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree with 8+ years related work experience Financial planning, ability to work with associates with different skill levels, ability to work with Finance and Provost departments to advance the goals of the departments and the University, proficiency with Microsoft excel, working knowledge of Worday (HCM, Fin & Students).
