The Asian American and Pacific Islander Studies Program (AAPI) at Brandeis University seeks a dynamic teacher who will contribute to the curriculum of AAPI. The position comes with a two-course teaching load in Fall 2022. The candidate will be expected to teach two AAPI/Women?s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGS) courses from the list below. The instructor will have great latitude with the syllabi and content. AAPI/WGS 126a Asian American Women's History AAPI/WGS 137b Performing Asian/American Women on Screen and Scene AAPI/WGS 125b Gender, Migration, and Sexuality in a Global Asia While area of expertise is open, candidates should preferably hold a Ph.D. in a field connected to AAPI and WGS.
