Job Title: Bi-Lingual Academic & Admissions Advisor Position Overview: Academic & Admissions Advisor is responsible for day-to-day operation of Cambridge Network’s academic center which includes sales, customer service, academic service delivery and school admissions components. The role displays a high level of professionalism, problem-solving ability, customer orientation, resourcefulness, the ability to mentor students and their parents, and provide essential support to tutors, American admissions consultants, attention to detail, and work in a fast-paced environment. This position is required to be flexible to work evening, night and weekends accordingly. Position Responsibilities Sales: Engage existing clients in cross-sell and re-sell opportunities to increase revenue and constantly strive to meet weekly, monthly and annual sales targets. Proactively develop new leads, prospects and customers from direct selling efforts. Work cross-functionally with and provide sales support to related parties including, but not limited to, PO team, sales team and their agents as well as marketing team to ensure sales success. Understand the industry, our products and competitors to the extent required to tailor and articulate our unique and compelling value proposition to prospects. Customer Services: Provide daily excellent customer service and troubleshooting support including, but not limited to, tutor-student matching, session scheduling, re-scheduling, class cancellation while interacting with prospective and existing clients and families. Respond timely to assigned students, their parents and the student success’s related key parties. Monitor students’ ongoing academic progress and update students’ parents, tutors and team on the student’s academic progress. Collect and document program testimonials from key stakeholders including, but not limited to, students, parents, tutors and American admissions consultants. Communicate effectively regarding services and program offerings to key stakeholders Develop a keen understanding of customer needs in the market and convey those to team Provide customers’ effective and constructive feedback to tutors, American admissions consultants and team. Operation: Implement student satisfaction surveys/interview, and manage the expectations of students and parents. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tutoring-related data, including tutor/vendor list, student lists, packages purchased, and hours used. Monitor tutor compensation and hours delivered. Review session reports/hours and process tutor/vendor invoices accurately. Translate program materials if necessary. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned. School Admissions Generate a schoolwide admissions preparation and awareness plan. Guide students and their parents /guardians through school admissions and application process. Explain about admission procedure to students and parents/ guardians. Provide pre-application coaching for 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders. Assist with Completion of Documents. Assess students’ academic progress to meet requirements of specific middle/high schools, colleges and college programs. Work closely with American admissions consultants to give students the best chances at admission. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience Ability to multi-task, plan, and execute complex projects and take initiative and work independently. Counseling or teaching experience working with international students for a minimum of 2 years. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Highly organized, detailed-oriented and effective time management skills Excellent oral and written communication, teamwork and customer service skills Excellent materials development and project management skills. Knowledge of/experience with use of online tools for academic support a plus. A basic knowledge of business finance is helpful but not essential Bi-Lingual in Mandarin
