Brandeis University Program Administrator, Samuels Center in Waltham, Massachusetts
The administrator for the Vic and Bobbi (?63) Samuels Center for Community Partnerships and Civic Transformation (COMPACT) will manage and support the day-to-day operations of the Center, including budget management, scheduling, and logistics. The Center administrator also will manage and participate in creating and curating the Center website. They will implement communication strategies for diverse stakeholders and program participants. Key Responsibilities: Administers COMPACT programs including: scheduling, room reservations, and other logistics for all meetings and events. Creates first drafts of materials, including surveys, communication with participants, etc. Manages cost center budgeting; prepares annual and monthly budgets; reconciles budget reports, analyzing variances as necessary. Submits receipts and tracks reimbursements. Designs, creates and implements communications for COMPACT, including: builds, creates and maintains website, including a publicly accessible calendar of events and opportunities; prepares and disseminates weekly newsletter; collects stories/submissions for communications and reports; manages incoming requests for information. Supports community partnerships, including: maintains records of contacts with partners (in database); coordinates CORI certification process (with student workers); refers inquiries as appropriate. Skills & Qualifications: BA/BS, required 3-5 years related work experience This will be a creative and dynamic work environment, as we build this new Center.
