CorEvitas, a division of Thermo Fisher Scientific, is a science-driven data intelligence provider for the life sciences industry. We deliver objective data and clinical insights essential for bringing safe and effective treatments to market. Our Clinical Registries Epidemiology team combines scientific expertise and project management skills with data from our clinical registries to produce a wide range of client deliverables, including publications (abstracts, posters, manuscripts) and safety reports for post-marketing regulatory commitments.

Remote position anywhere in the USA. Travel within the USA up to 5%.

Discover Impactful Work:

As a key member of the Clinical Registries Epidemiology management team, the Research Coordinator (RC) will work closely with one or more Clinical Research Managers (CRM) and project team members from Clinical Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Pharmacovigilance to ensure the success of internal and client-facing projects. This role requires keen attention to detail, as well as excellent organizational, note-taking, and document formatting skills. Key responsibilities include supporting development and maintenance of project timelines, creating and updating projects and accounts in our financial tracking system, organizing and participating in client meetings by scheduling, preparing agendas and documenting discussion in minutes, and reviewing and formatting documents associated with scientific publications. The RC’s close collaboration with the CRM affords an excellent opportunity to prepare the right individual for a career in project management.

A day in the Life:

  • Assist CRM(s) with management of the publication process, including the preparation of abstracts, posters, and manuscripts for scientific dissemination

  • Collaborate with the CRM(s) to build and monitor project timelines

  • Coordinate with team members from Clinical Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Pharmacovigilance to ensure project timelines are met

  • Work with CRM(s) to track progress on projects with respect to contracts and budgets

  • Partner with CRM(s) to create and maintain projects and accounts in our financial and time tracking system (Salesforce/FinancialForce)

  • Assist CRM(s) with documentation for invoicing and answering questions about billing with finance teams

  • Schedule, prepare agendas, and document minutes for internal and external meetings

  • Review, edit, and format scientific reports and publications

  • Assist the team with development of slide presentations

  • Organize cross-functional teams to develop, format, and deliver quarterly registry reports

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree

Experience

  • 0-2 years’ clinical research or project management experience

  • Prior experience recording detailed meeting minutes and action items

  • Familiarity with scientific publications and research in real world data or observational registries a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Excellent English communication and writing skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented, with exceptional time management abilities

  • Commitment to ethical business and research practices

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and support multiple projects simultaneously

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, FinancialForce, or monday.com a plus
