Professional Audio Visual Installation Technician Audio-Visual Installation Technician for Low Voltage Commercial installations. AV experience not required - but preferred. We are focused on looking for a hands-on technician that has installation experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Cable termination & cable installation Low Voltage Installation: 2-5 years of experience (preferred but will train) - Looking for tech for installing Low Voltage wire CAT6/Access/Cameras in COMMERCIAL environments. Device Installation 2-5 years (preferred but will train) - Looking for someone that has installed devices in a commercial environment. Having prior commercial experience, installing hardware, have their own tools and PPE gear, and have a good grasp on technology. Use hand and power tools, solder and crimp connectors along with various other AV system related tasks. Duties and Responsibilities INSTALLING Ceiling mounted video projectors Speaker systems Wall mounted cameras Control panels Running and terminating of low voltage cabling. Equipment rack installations TVs/TV mounts Video walls ETC. Live Event/Music Engineering is NOT relevant experience* Additionally Communication of daily job site status, and completion of required job documentation as needed. Act as customer liaison on site per project scope and directives - direct on-site change requests to Project Manager for confirmation and final direction Travel to various job sites Perform installation tasks as noted in job summary based on project scope and directives Effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues Ability to work and think independently and ensure to meet deadlines. Basic computer knowledge Applicants will need to be OSHA certified. If not at the time of application, you will just need to complete certification before the first day of work. ATC will be able to supply the proper channels to complete certification and compensate for the cost of test. Working Conditions and Physical Effort Be able to lift 50lbs. Comfortability with heights - Man Lift and Ladder usage will be required. MUST have a valid drivers license. Will need to get DOT certified. ATC Audio will compensate for this.
