What you’ll do
Maintain the production department’s training calendar and matrix while working with the management team to take the appropriate actions.
Oversee the on-the-job training experience for new production associates including onboarding, skill assessment, trainer/trainee relationship support, training coverage (as needed).
Support the department’s dojo experience by way of prepping materials, relaying key insights from recent graduates to improve learning content, assist with instruction and class coverage.
Reviews department’s training documentation for compliance with Training SOPs and Good Documentation Practices and assists with improving the documents and practices.
Schedule and coordinate training activities for department, delivers micro learnings and training to area staff when necessary.
Oversee the scheduling and logistical support of cross training initiatives.
Acts as a liaison between the business unit and the Learning and Develop department with a focus on communication and needs analysis.
Maintain a level of production expertise by routinely working within the department on the production floor sharpening personal skills and staying on top of changes within the business unit.
Act as the primary back up for key quality and material handling roles within the production department.
Work with SMEs and document owners to make adjustments to forms, work instructions and procedures that will better align them to the work that is being done.
Who you are
High School Diploma or local equivalent
Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience.
Passion for helping associates and training others to the proper work standards
Ability to adapt to a variety of personality’s and work environments to deliver the best experience for the trainee.
Ability to communicate, receive and understand instructions regarding duties to be performed.
Knowledge and understanding of production process, work instructions, documentation configuration control, non-conforming & rework documentation requirements and operates within them to ensure that a device conforms to its specification.
Demonstrated ability to communicate with co-workers and leadership.
Aware of and comply with Stop Order, Concessions, ESD, Calibration, Preventative Maintenance, Material Identification & Segregation, and Good Documentation Practices, as associated with this job type/position.
