Job Title: Structured Cabling Technician

Location: Sites along the 495 Belt

Job Description:

We are actively seeking skilled Structured Cabling Technicians to join our team for multiple projects in the greater Boston Area, along the 495 belt. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and termination of Cat6 cables, ensuring high-quality voice and data cabling solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and terminate Cat6 cables following industry standards.

• Run and terminate voice and data cables efficiently.

• Adhere to low voltage network cabling instructions.

• Follow manufacturer guidelines and instructions from the lead technician.

• Ensure all installations meet quality and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in structured cabling and telecommunications.

• Ability to use power and hand tools effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.

• OSHA30 and SST certifications required.

• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.

• Available to work Monday through Friday.

Skills:

• Cable installation and termination (Cat5, Cat6)

• Use of cable trays, J-hooks, and cable runways

• Wire management and structured cabling

• Testing and troubleshooting telecommunications infrastructure

  This is a contract to hire role.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
