Parker Chomerics Compounds Associate 2nd shift in Woburn, Massachusetts

Reporting to the Production Manager, this individual has a keen understanding of working with chemicals where they will mix, dispense, and label batches according to specifications. If you like attention to detail and safety, this is a great role with visibility to the organization. Some of the day to day functions include weigh up, Mix, dispensing, packaging, and labeling of compound materials. Responsibilities Read work orders and Batch cards to determine production specifications and information. Precision Weigh Up of liquids, adhesives, paint, and other conductive chemicals. Perform Mixing operation to batch card requirements. Dispense material into proper containers. Print and label required product and complete basic packaging Record production information using Day by Hour. Perform Quality checks as needed to maintain a clean and safe work area. Sustain Safety and 5S program. Other job duties as assigned. Qualifications US Citizenship or Permanent US Resident Status required. High school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) required. Minimum of 2+ years of Manufacturing experience or batch making required. Must have knowledge of weights and be able to use a scale as well as math skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced department and be able to multi-task. Effective communication skills; written as well as verbal. Ability to read, write, and understand basic English required Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
