American Tower Learning Specialist in Woburn, Massachusetts

The Team

We are seeking a Learning Specialist to join American Tower’s U.S. Tower division’s Human Resources department’s Learning & Development team. The team provides relevant and engaging learning programs for U. S. Tower division employees. Day to day you will manage core administrative and operational aspects in support of learning programs. As a Learning Specialist you will partner cross-functionally to deliver strong customer service and operational efficiencies.

What You Can Offer Us

  • Support the successful delivery of learning programs by coordinating details (e.g., calendar invitations), engaging with presenters, producing training notifications, and providing day-of-delivery support.

  • Gather and report data on key metrics related to training deliveries; provide basic data analyses, that illustrate the differences between reports and highlight trends.

  • Coordinate with training facilitators and presenters across the enterprise to support a range of training needs.

  • Handle requests for assistance in a timely fashion by managing team mailboxes.

  • Ensure that others have efficient access to the department’s files and reports by organizing shared drives; recommend more efficient tools and processes.

  • Support other Human Resources department areas including Internal Communications and the Human Resources Generalist team.

  • Manage internal procurement and accounts payable processes to ensure the timely payment of approved invoices.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed

  • High school diploma required.

  • Experience in an administrative or similar role preferred.

  • Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word) experience required. Advanced Excel and Word skills and PowerPoint preferred.

  • Experience gathering, reporting, and analyzing data required.

  • Strong follow-up skills required.

  • Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with and effectively influence internal and external customers.

  • Experience working in a project-oriented, high paced-environment preferred.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.

  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to achieve results effectively and professionally.

  • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Approximately 10% travel may be required to support the position’s responsibilities.
