The Missile Defense Sensors department is seeking a National Team System Discrimination Lead and Responsible Engineer for the Lethal Hypothesis Decision Logic (LHDL) team, which includes the Woburn reachback team and a multifunctional team in Huntsville AL comprised of engineers from Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman. This role drives the development of advanced technical solutions for complex problems within the Missile Defense System (MDS) space through modeling, algorithm development, performance analysis, and identification of long-term strategic updates to the MDS. This role requires direct and frequent interactions with colleagues and leaders within industry and government.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Collaborate with CM&D Technical Director, CM&D Chief Engineer, the National Team System Concepts & Requirements (SC&R) Team Chief Engineer, and the National Team-Systems and Integration Chief Engineer & Chief Architect to identify systems and capabilities to meet MDS needs
Interface directly with MDA/SEM customer and National Team leadership to lead the development of the CMD Integration Tool CDRLs and ensure on time, on budget deliveries
Interface with other Industry partners to participate in the ongoing development of new capabilities based on MDA Discrimination Roadmap as developed by the customer to influence future MDS Increments
Effectively manage Woburn reachback team and multidisciplinary team in Huntsville, AL
Analyze and develop new concepts and architectures to support MDA customers, taking into consideration cost, schedule, technological maturity, and long term system strategies.
Develop core technical deliverables including trade studies, analysis reports, engineering data packages, and draft system requirements, in addition to forward looking metrics surrounding lethal object identification, false alarms, architectural flexibility and adaptability, and robustness to new and novel threats.
Brief senior, technical MDA government and FFRDC members on a regular basis.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires Bachelor's degree and minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience. (An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for an additional 2 years of experience).
Experience leading a technical team
Experience in managing cost, schedule, or technical performance for programs
Experience working with the MDA National Team
Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Value:

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
